Acceptable Use Policy — AI Tattoo Generator
Rules for using the TattooDoodle AI image generation feature responsibly
Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to the AI Tattoo Generator feature of TattooDoodle — the part of our service where you describe an idea in words and an AI image model renders a tattoo design for you.
TattooDoodle is not purely an AI generation product. Our other tools do not use AI image generation at all:
- Lettering / tattoo font tool: renders your text with fonts directly in your browser. No AI model is involved.
- Tattoo ideas gallery: curated design images.
- Try-on simulator: runs locally in your browser on a photo you provide.
This AUP governs only the AI Tattoo Generator. Nothing here limits or describes the non-AI tools.
What the AI generator is for
The AI Tattoo Generator produces design reference images — inspiration you can discuss with your tattoo artist. Output is not a stencil, is not guaranteed to be tattooable, and carries no promise about healing, safety, or final appearance. Your artist redraws and adapts any design before tattooing.
Prohibited uses
You must not use the AI Tattoo Generator to produce, or attempt to produce:
- Sexual or NSFW content. Prompts requesting sexual, pornographic, or otherwise not-safe-for-work imagery are prohibited and blocked.
- Abuse or harassment. Content targeting, demeaning, or harassing any person or group.
- Deception. Designs intended to deceive — for example, impersonating another person's tattoo, forging an artist's style signature, or creating imagery meant to mislead.
- Unlawful content. Anything illegal where you live, including content infringing others' copyrights or trademarks (for example, reproducing a tattoo artist's original design without permission).
- Filter evasion. Attempts to bypass, probe, or degrade our content moderation — coded language, deliberate misspellings, multi-step jailbreaks, or automated bulk submission designed to test the filters.
How we enforce this
Every prompt is screened by automated content moderation (the Creem Content Moderation API, plus keyword pre-screening) before it reaches the image model. Prompts that are denied or flagged are blocked without generating an image, and no generation credits are consumed for blocked prompts.
Violations may lead to warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent termination of your account, depending on severity and repetition.
Reporting
If you see AI-generated output on our service that you believe violates this policy, contact us at contact us with a description. We review reports and act where appropriate.
Changes
We may update this AUP as our product and policies evolve. Material changes will be posted on this page.
